Microgravity holds great potential for drug development and cell therapy. -- Stefan Oschmann, former CEO of Merck
Microgravity culture system, also known as random positioning instrument and random positioning culture system, is used to simulate the microgravity environment on the ground (therefore, it is also called "gravity environment simulator" or "microgravity simulator", etc.). The system is usually used in ground laboratories to carry out microgravity effect simulation culture of cells and tissues, so as to be used in the study of pathology and pharmaceutical ecology under simulated microgravity environment. The system is a low-cost and repeatable research platform for simulation and cultivation of microgravity effects, which is often used for experimental design, simulation before space experiments and verification after landing. It can also be used to carry out biological, tissue and 3D cell culture.
