The institute will be built into a development center of new chemical materials in China and a material innovation center in the world.
Wanhua Research Institution invested 510 million yuan was found in Ningbo Daxie Development Zone on December 2017. It was built as the international design, with a total construction area of 4.1 million square meters. At present, Wanhua Research Institute has developed over 300 new materials, applied for 155 patents, and produced 193 new materials in cooperation with industry enterprises.
Dynaflow undertook designing and construction of the research building and plant laboratories. The laboratories area are 1200 square meters in total. The laboratories adopted the fifth-generation assembly technology developed by Dynaflow. All of functional modules were prefabricated in the factory and transported to the site for rapidly assembly build. Mechanical equipments and robots were involved in the production. It greatly reduced the difficulty of operation and improves laboratory construction efficiency.
As early as March 19-21, 2019 , the last experimental building (12000m2) of the phase I laboratory in Wanhua Global R&D Center was implemented as the fourth-generation assembly technology. The traditional implementation requires 100 people for 6 months, and the on-site assembly-type implementation only took 8 people for 24 hours, setting a new record for global assembly-type laboratory implementation.
The prefabricated implementation technology can reduce the laboratory implementation time by 98%, labor hours by 99%, on-site pollution emissions by 90%, and high-altitude operations by 90%, greatly improving the quality and accuracy of products. The prefabricated laboratory is of positive significance to the sustainable development of the construction industry and the long-term development of the national strategy in the new period.
