The building has one basement and seventeen floors above ground. The project type is the renovation of old buildings. This project has two, thirteen, fourteen and fifteen floors . The second floor was transformed into a modern laboratory department, directly serving the clinic; while the thirteenth to fifteenth floors were transformed into modern mass spectrometry and coagulation laboratories, pathology and bacteria laboratories, and molecular diagnostic laboratories to meet the needs of medicine, education, and research.

The design of the laboratory of this project follows the design of the functional characteristics of the medical laboratory: clear functional partitions and clear streamlines.
